On the game table the talk is all about the game. Outside the game however, one talks of politics, regional delicacies and pretty much everything else. Occasional discussions and small fights erupt, both in and out of the game, to heat up the otherwise calm and relative silent environment. These tables serve as a regular meeting point for club members who use them as protected territory. There are games of “sueca” but also solitaire, draughts and chess that serve to bring people together and create a convivial culture of sharing. We hear the sounds of chit-chat, memories and stories, the search for the best opponent for the next game, given that some are champions and others just play for fun…
