On the jeweller’s table everything is delicate. As a work-table this is a microcosmos of precision tools that give form to the most precious materials. On this tabletop there has been silver and gold, precious stones and diamonds. Rings, bracelets and necklaces have been carefully elaborated to make these objects symbols of faith, love and commemoration. This table demands silence and concentration to serve as a stage for the micro movements of the well-trained hand of the jeweller. What one hears are tiny contact sounds between one piece and another in a soundscape of miniscule private sounds, almost secret…. Certainly inaudible to the couple entering the shop to choose their wedding rings.
