WORKSHOP ⟡ The Legend of Fire ⟡ Marcelo Reis and Mafalda Costa

In the workshop – The Legend of Fire – children were invited to think about and draw their first encounter with fire: what it is, where it comes from, and whether there are alternatives to the story we already know. Together, they created a new narrative and told it through shadow theatre, using elements and characters cut out of cardboard and projected onto a screen. In doing so, they questioned the arrival and impact of fire in our everyday lives.
