CACTO is a project dedicated to developing site-specific modes of musical creation with a particular focus on their atmospheric dimension.

Bringing together electroacoustics, electronics, and field recordings, the ensemble creates music that combines attentive listening with minimal, repetitive strategies rooted in spectral practices, exploring the boundaries between improvisation and composition. The album was recorded in the Anechoic Chamber of the Instituto Superior Técnico.
