Music and Organology Workshop
Workshop by Zé Cruz with children aged 6 to 12.
Trumpeter and composer by training, and multi-instrumentalist at heart, Zé Cruz brought to this workshop his collection of musical instruments from diverse regions of the world—Morocco, Mali, Burkina Faso, China, Iran, Brazil, Peru, Cuba, India, Serbia, and Réunion Island.
Together, participants explored the origins, stories, and soundscapes of these instruments, embarking on a journey across continents through their unique voices. The workshop culminated in a collective session of musical improvisation, where the children created and shared sound in a vibrant dialogue of cultures.
