ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP ⟡ FANTASTIC MONSTERS 

Workshop by Beatriz Bagulho and Carolina Caramujo, with children aged 6 to 12, in collaboration with the São Gregório Primary School and open to the general public.

On Saturday, February 8, the Thematic Illustration Workshop unfolded under the spellbinding theme of Fantastic Monsters—a subject bound to spark the imagination of young participants.

In this session, children began by exploring creative techniques designed to awaken their imagination, sketching surreal characters through playful exercises with objects, lines, and ink blots. From this starting point, each child was invited to invent and bring to life a fantastic creature: a monster embodying some of their own thoughts and concerns.

Together, we unveiled and illustrated the monsters that inhabit our daily lives, guided by challenges that encouraged imagination, storytelling, and creative expression.
