SPIES AND SECRET CODES
Imagine you receive the following mysterious message: “Hello, Sol. Sol, hello”. Apart from the fact that it sounds like someone is greeting the sun, it doesn’t seem to make much sense, does it? It probably isn’t even a message, it doesn’t mean anything. It’s probably a mistake or a bunch of randomly grouped words… nothing like that! Nothing is what it seems to be. In this workshop we’ll learn how to use various symbols to construct secret codes and, like them, transmit messages that only a few people will be able to decipher – welcome to the top-secret world of espionage!
By the way, did you find out what message might be hidden in “Hello Sol. Sol, hello”? Try putting the first letters of each word together.
