Totebag \u2022 OSSO + Nuno Bettencourt\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Open workshop for children from S\u00e3o Greg\u00f3rio Primary School, held at OSSO with guest artist Nuno Bettencourt. \u2013 OSSO Colectivo \u2013 1\u20138 April 2023<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this workshop we will draw and print directly onto the fabric of cloth bags, to be used and offered through local shops, grocers, bakeries, etc. In this way, we put into practice the idea of an intergenerational dialogue between the community and the learning of an artistic\/ecological practice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Starting from this premise, the open workshop with Nuno Bettencourt, together with the children of S\u00e3o Greg\u00f3rio Primary School, took place at OSSO. Throughout the session, all stages of printmaking were explored, from plate preparation to the press, as well as the choice of paper and inks. The participants were thus given the opportunity to engrave and print a series of drawings created by themselves.<\/p>\n
