Martins | MILL &#8211; Makers in Little Lisbon<\/strong> residency with the students of Escola B\u00e1sica de S\u00e3o Greg\u00f3rio. Residency included in<strong><u>EIRA #2<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In this workshop we are going to make our own electric plasticine! The plasticine circuits are based on two types of plasticine mass, one that has conductive characteristics (colored mass) and another that has insulating characteristics (white mass). With this plasticine we will be able to make objects, toys and sculptures, which light up, move and make noise.<br \/>\nThis activity aims to introduce children to the principles of electrical circuits in a fun and very practical way, with material that is familiar to them and a favorite in creative projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content:<\/strong><br \/>\nElectricity and electric circuits<br \/>\nConductivity and resistance of materials<br \/>\nOpen circuit, closed circuit and short circuit<br \/>\nLeds, motors and buzzers<\/p>\n<p><strong>Credits:<\/strong><br \/>\n \u201cSquishy Circuits\u201d is a project by \u201cPlayful Learning Lab\u201d from St. Thomas University in the United States made by the professor AnnMarie Thomas.
